Common questions.

Fifteen questions we hear the most from hoteliers evaluating Rmsclaud. Cannot find yours? Email support@rmsclaud.org.

How does activation work?

You buy a module, receive an activation link, sign in with your SiteMinder login through the official OAuth flow, and grant the module the specific API scopes it needs. Median time from checkout to first successful sync is under two minutes.

How am I billed?

Monthly, in AUD, on the same day each month you activated. Charged automatically to the card on file via Stripe. Invoices arrive by email under our Montenegro d.o.o. entity.

Do you have access to my SiteMinder password?

Never. Activation goes through the OAuth flow on the SiteMinder login page. We only ever hold a scoped access token, encrypted at rest. Revoke it from SiteMinder to instantly stop every Rmsclaud module that uses it.

Where is my data stored?

Primary hosting in Frankfurt (Hetzner). Warm failover in Warsaw (OVHcloud). Backups AES-256 encrypted in Helsinki. Data processed under GDPR + Montenegro Personal Data Protection Act. Non-EU customers protected under equivalent principles.

Am I locked in?

No. Every module is monthly. Cancel from your account dashboard or by email. Annual customers get a prorated refund under our 14-day refund policy.

What about multi-property groups?

Each module is priced per property, per month. Volume discounts kick in at three properties (10%) and ten properties (15%). Groups running three or more properties should look at the Multi-Property Console for SiteMinder, which unifies everything into one dashboard.

Do you offer refunds?

Fourteen-day money-back window on annual prepayments. Prorated refund on monthly plans if you cancel mid-cycle and have not made heavy use of the API. Details in the Refund Policy.

What are your support hours?

Podgorica office hours, Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00 CET. Because CET is UTC+1 and Sydney is UTC+10, that overlaps AEST 18:00–03:00. Critical incidents are covered 24/7 with a 2-hour response SLA.

Can you build a custom module for us?

Yes, if the module is broadly useful to other SiteMinder hoteliers. We do not do bespoke one-off engagements. Email a description to support@rmsclaud.org and we will tell you within a week whether it fits the roadmap.

What is your uptime SLA?

99.5% monthly uptime per module, with automatic credit against next invoice if we miss it. Realised uptime across 2025 was 99.7%. Live status at status.rmsclaud.org.

Are there API rate limits?

SiteMinder enforces its own rate limits. Our modules honour those with token-bucket throttling. If you run several modules against the same property we coordinate reads so the aggregate call rate stays comfortable.

What about security?

TLS 1.3 in transit. AES-256 at rest. Argon2id password hashing. Access to production is MFA + hardware key only. Full audit log. Vulnerability disclosure email at compliance@rmsclaud.org. See the security page.

Can I add a property later?

Yes. Add a new property to any module from your account dashboard. Billing prorates automatically for the current month. Removing a property is one click and takes effect at the next billing cycle.

How do I migrate from another vendor?

Most Rmsclaud modules do not need any migration — they connect fresh via SiteMinder and start working. If you are moving off a competitor for a specific module, we offer a guided walkthrough that maps their configuration to ours; email support@rmsclaud.org.

Is there a walkthrough I can try before buying?

Yes. Every module has a sandbox mode that runs against a synthetic property so you can see the workflow end to end. If you want to run it against your real SiteMinder data before committing, we can arrange a 14-day pilot with a written no-obligation cancellation.
